Membership Type: Senior Member (in KSWG Preferred)

Desired Experience: 
• Maj. or higher
• TLC
• CPPT Advanced
• Unit leadership experience at Squadron/Group/Wing level. The Activity Director position is not the time to have a first significant leadership assignment.
• Comparable civilian or military experience of like responsibility which compliments this experience prefered.
• Highly knowledgeable of AFMAN 36-2203 Drill and Ceremonies
• Familiar with CAPP 52-8 CAP Unit Honor Guard Program
• Familiar with AFI 34-1201 PROTOCOL and AFPAM 34-1201 GUIDE TO PROTOCOL 
• Familiar with relevant portions of USAF HONOR GUARD MANUAL: BASE HONOR GUARD PROGRAM
• Familiar with USAF Honor Guard Training Guide
• Active previous participation in the staff of a Kansas Wing Special Activity, NCSA or Encampment at the Director (Commander), Deputy/Assistant Director (Deputy Commander), Executive Officer or Chief/Senior TAC role(s) or another key leadership position.
• Must be enrolled in the Cadet Programs specialty track, preferably at the Master Level

Term of Service: 1 Year; May 2015 - April 2016

Function: Lead and direct the Kansas Wing Honor Guard Academy, a nationally recognized, Cadet Special Activities run by Kansas Wing.
• Assist the NCSA Development Officer with proposals and recommendations, and provide National Leadership and the NCSA Officer with evaluations and recommended actions at the conclusion of the event
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Appointment:
• Will be made by the Kansas Wing Commander, with supervision by the CSA Officer (Ceremonies School Commander) after the appointment
• This term will be no less than 1 years and will not exceed 3 years from date of assignment 
• When budgets permit CAP provides meals and lodging to participating CSA senior member staff; senior staff pay a reduced activity fee. Travel costs to and from the event is the senior member’s responsibility.
