"As the Kansas Wing Commander, I am proud to lead over 400 volunteer men and women as we serve our communities, state, and nation! Civil Air Patrol has a long history of helping our neighbors when disaster strikes at home, or helping our fellow citizens when disasters strike across the country. In 2017 alone, Kansas Wing volunteers provided countless hours of volunteer support, from American Red Cross blood runs to emergency locator transmitter search missions, and even deployed to Texas and Louisiana in support of operations during Hurricane Harvey.

Aside from our emergency services missions, Kansas Wing is proud to be home to over 150 cadet members as they learn leadership, aerospace education, character development, and customs and courtesies, to name a few. Our cadets are found in units across Kansas, and continually amaze me in their abilities. Kansas Wing is fortunate to have seen many cadets, both present and past, achieve the Gen. Carl A. Spaatz Award, the top cadet achievement which is only earned by the top ~1% of cadets in the nation. Our cadets also serve along side our adult members in supporting their communities, state, and nation whenever the call comes.

I welcome you to Kansas Wing Online, and hope we have provided some very useful information about our organization. I invite you to contact the unit closest to you and come see what we do! Civil Air Patrol is an amazing organization, home to some of the best and brightest youth and adults this country has to offer!"
